Welcome to AntiObamaBlog.com! Although I have had a couple of small personal blogs, this is my first serious effort to get into the blogging world. For those who don’t already know, “blog” is a contraction of the term “web log,” and is used to avoid confusion with all of the other “logs” that are out there in cyberspace. This first posting will explain the purpose of this site and a little bit about myself.

Mission Statement: The mission of this blog is simply to follow the actions, policies and words of Barack Obama and those who surround him to demonstrate why many Americans feel that he is not qualified for the job for which he was elected. It is also meant to explain why, when appropriate, we believe that many of his actions, policies and words are not in the best interest of our great country.Hopefully, it will become a one-stop source for all of your anti-Obama needs!

This is NOT an attack site. I will not attack the man Barack Obama personally. I will always be respectful towards him as a person, and I hope you will alert me at any point that you feel I have been disrespectful. I will not tolerate profanity, disrespect or racism.

This is NOT a gossip site. I will not make claims about Barack Obama without evidence to explain them. For instance, I will not say that Barack Obama is “secretly a Muslim” as some have; however, I might discuss his connections to the religion of Islam and why they are relevant. I will not claim that Barack Obama was “not born in America,” but I will discuss why some people are indeed concerned about his place of birth. I will not tolerate profanity, disrespect or racism.

About Me: I am Catholic, Conservative and American, in that order. Again, I am conservative; I am not a crazy right-winger. I logically come to my own conclusions, following my own personal morals and insights. I do not mindlessly follow some point of view simply because it is that of a political party, religion or family member. Through my own observations, I do believe that the mainstream media displays a strong liberal bias, which is why I feel that blogs like this are important. I will attempt to be journalistic as much as possible, and my own opinions will be clearly identified when present.

Comments: I believe in freedom of speech. I may not like what you have to say, but I will fight with you for your right to say it. With that being said, due to the politically controversial nature of this blog, comments will be watched carefully and will be deleted if I deem them inappropriate. I will not tolerate profanity, disrespect or racism. If you feel that you must use profanity, please asterisk the d*** words, as so. I encourage comments of disagreement, as long as they are respectful and are an attempt to engage intelligent conversation. I will not tolerate “attack” and “gossip” claims as I discussed above. I will not tolerate claims without an explanation of why you feel that way. For example, you can tell us that you personally think Obama is a “secret Muslim” as long as you explain why you feel that way.

You may also contact me with any questions or comments, or complaints if you feel that I have been disrespectful or unduly biased. I will, however, ignore all emails that are disrespectful or which contain strong profanity.

Domain Name: I realize that the domain name AntiObamaBlog.com does indicate undue bias. For this, I apologize. It was simply the best name that was available. It is not entirely inaccurate in the sense that this author does not support Barack Obama as president and intends to expose his erroneous actions, policies and words. It is inaccurate in that I am not anti-Barack Obama personally. I will give Barack Obama credit where it is due and will admit to any time that I have been proven wrong.
