Obama ‘proud’ of Hoffa after controversial comments
From Glenn Beck:
President Obama got a fiery warm up to his Labor Day speech, courtesy of Jimmy Hoffa, Jr, who promised to take out any of those anti-union “son of a bitches” out. Of course, the President came out and rebuked that violent rhetoric, right? Nope! Instead, Obama claimed he was “proud” of Hoffa.
Hoffa’s comments below can be seen from The Blaze Video:
Hoffa told the crowd:
“We’ve got to keep an eye on the battle that we face, the war on workers and you see it everywhere. It is the Tea Party and you know there’s only one way to beat and win that war. The one thing about working people is we like a good fight and you know what? They’ve got a war, they’ve got a war with us and there’s only going to be one winner. It’s going to be the workers of Michigan and America. We’re going to win that war. President Obama this is your Army. We are ready to march. Let’s take these son of a bitches out and give America back to America where we belong. Thank you very much.”
When Obama took the stage, he made sure to thank a long list of labor activists including Richard Trumka, Mark Gaffney, Mary Kay Henry and (drumroll)…..Jimmy Hoffa!
“We’re proud of them and we’re proud of the congressional delegation,” Obama said of all involved.
“I’ve never seen a President do this before. Have you? I mean, that’s like – this is incredible. This is the second Labor Day in a row that we have had a big union rally, with the President of the United States,” Glenn said.
