The “Swine Flu” Conspiracy; Is Obama the Culprit?

First let me say again that I am not a conspiracy theorist of any kind. That being said, the following was just an interesting thought that popped into my head this morning as I was waking up. The following is just an interesting possible connection between six different stories I have read lately, all in good humor. Let’s also remember that this whole stupid “Swine Flu” thing is just the latest media hype and is no big deal at all.

Story #1 – Swine Flu Outbreak (Also called the Mexican Flu)

From the Washington Post:

U.S. health officials today reported the first confirmed death in the United States from swine flu — a toddler from Mexico who died in Texas — as the infection spread to more locations across the country and around the world and the World Health Organization considered raising its pandemic threat alert level.

In a news conference, Richard E. Besser, acting director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in Atlanta, said there are now 91 confirmed swine flu cases in 10 states — up from 64 cases in five states in the CDC’s report yesterday. He said New York has 51 confirmed cases; Texas 16; California 14; Massachusetts, Michigan and Kansas two each; and Arizona, Nevada, Indiana and Ohio one each. But he cautioned that “these numbers are almost out of date by the time I say them.”

Testifying on Capitol Hill, senior U.S. homeland security and health officials rejected the idea of closing the border with Mexico, saying such a response would be ineffective in stemming the spread of the disease… (And yet, a plane was quarantined at a Baltimore Airport due to 2 passengers with flu-like symptoms, while thousands continue to illegally cross in from Mexico every day. -Admin)

Houston health officials said today that a nearly 2-year-old toddler died Monday night in a hospital in the city after developing a fever and other flu symptoms. The child, who was not immediately identified, had traveled by plane with his family from Mexico City to a town near the U.S. border April 4. He then crossed into the United States to visit relatives in the border town of Brownsville and developed flu symptoms April 8.

Several days later, with his condition worsening, the boy was admitted to a Brownsville hospital. He was transported to Houston for additional treatment the next day. It is not known whether the child contracted the virus in Mexico or on the U.S. side of the porous border…

Schuchat said that in 2007, Bush administration modeled the spread of infectious disease and conducted a formal U.S. policy analysis, which concluded that once cases emerged in Canada or Mexico, the ability to stop a virus from spreading into the United States ends “within days.” …

Sen. Joseph I. Lieberman (I-Conn.), chairman of the Senate Homeland Security Committee and normally a voice of moderation on such matters, warned Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano that she should at least be open to considering further border checks, such as on temporary workers coming from Mexico, “because I think if you don’t, there will be growing pressure to really close the ports of entry.”

Napolitano responded that any requirement to screen all individuals crossing the border will create delays, long lines and economic and personal costs…

Although so far genetic analyses of the viruses in Mexico and elsewhere appear identical, scientists will be studying samples as the virus passes from one person to another for any sign that it might be becoming less threatening…

In addition to the U.S. and Mexican cases, at least six have been confirmed in Israel, at least two in Spain, five in Britain and two in New Zealand, according to WHO. Israeli officials said they had confirmed two more cases, both in men who recently returned from Mexico.

On Wednesday, German health officials said three citizens who recently returned from Mexico had tested positive for swine flu. The patients were all expected to make a full recovery, officials said, though they warned that the virus was likely to spread and that they were monitoring other suspected cases in Germany.

British Prime Minister Gordon Brown said today that all of those known to be infected in his country had been in Mexico recently and were responding well to treatment…

Story #2 -Swine Flu Suspected to be Man-Made

From PrisonPlanet.com:

According to a source known to former NSA official Wayne Madsen, “A top scientist for the United Nations, who has examined the outbreak of the deadly Ebola virus in Africa, as well as HIV/AIDS victims, concluded that H1N1 possesses certain transmission “vectors” that suggest that the new flu strain has been genetically-manufactured as a military biological warfare weapon.

Madsen claims that his source, and another in Indonesia, “Are convinced that the current outbreak of a new strain of swine flu in Mexico and some parts of the United States is the result of the introduction of a human-engineered pathogen that could result in a widespread global pandemic, with potentially catastrophic consequences for domestic and international travel and commerce.”

From CIDRAP News:

Jan 14, 2004 (CIDRAP News) – One of the worst fears of infectious disease experts is that the H5N1 avian influenza virus now circulating in parts of Asia will combine with a human-adapted flu virus to create a deadly new flu virus that could spread around the world.

That could happen, scientists predict, if someone who is already infected with an ordinary flu virus contracts the avian virus at the same time. The avian virus has already caused at least 48 confirmed human illness cases in Asia, of which 35 have been fatal. The virus has shown little ability to spread from person to person (in other words, does not occur naturally. -Admin), but the fear is that a hybrid could combine the killing power of the avian virus with the transmissibility of human flu viruses.

Now, rather than waiting to see if nature spawns such a hybrid, US scientists are planning to try to breed one themselves—in the name of preparedness.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) will soon launch experiments designed to combine the H5N1 virus and human flu viruses and then see how the resulting hybrids affect animals. The goal is to assess the chances that such a “reassortant” virus will emerge and how dangerous it might be.

Story #3 – Influenza As A Bio-Weapon

From the Journal of the Royal Society of Medicine, 2003:

[This] data caused us to re-examine the usual estimate that, in the USA, influenza kills 20 000 a year. From more recent studies of all-cause mortality, we suspect that the total is closer to 90 000. The Spanish flu epidemic in 1918 killed 20–40 million people.7 Less severe epidemics were the Asian flu in 1957, Russian flu in 1977, and Hong Kong flu in 1978. In addition to such spontaneous mutations, we must, since the terrorist attacks of September and October 2001, consider the possibility of malicious genetic engineering to create more virulent strains. Sequencing of the genome of the 1918 Spanish influenza virus is nearly complete; once it is published, unscrupulous scientists could presumably utilize candidate virulence sequences. Recently, the possibility of synthesizing an infectious agent solely by following instructions from a written sequence has moved from theory to practice.

Influenza is usually transmitted by direct contact but can also be transmitted by aerosol (e.g. on a passenger plane). Indeed, international transmission is increasingly frequent. Notably, aerosol transmission of influenza requires up to 27 000 times fewer virions to induce equivalent disease. Taken together with the fact that influenza virus is readily accessible and may be causing more deaths than previously suspected, the possibility for genetic engineering and aerosol transmission suggests an enormous potential for bioterrorism.

Influenza is a very different virus from smallpox, and the public health implications of influenza as a bioweapon differ from those for smallpox: influenza is readily available, whereas known stocks of smallpox are secured at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta and at a facility in Russia (though there is reason to suspect its leakage to weapons programmes elsewhere). Secondly, because influenza occurs naturally, a cluster of cases would not prompt an investigation, and an epidemic would have a considerable head start on public health authorities. A third difference is that the incubation period for influenza is short (1–4 days) versus 10–14 days for smallpox. Immunization after exposure to influenza is therefore not protective, and even the neuraminidase inhibitors such as oseltamivir must be administered before symptoms develop or within the first 48 hours after their appearance. Fourth, influenza is harder to eradicate, because of avian, murine, and swine reservoirs. Fifth, influenza outside of pandemics, has lower case-fatality (2.5% versus 25%, though the newly recognized triggering of cardiovascular events suggests that the true mortality may be much higher in ill or elderly persons). Finally, influenza poses a greater threat to world leaders than does smallpox, because they are older and prone to influenza and its cardiovascular complications, have some residual immunity to smallpox (whereas unvaccinated youth have none), and are often in public places.

Even a natural epidemic of influenza can devastate our healthcare system and render society vulnerable to terrorist attacks of any kind. In addition, because of the similarity between early symptoms of influenza and other bioterror agents (such as anthrax), clinicians need to understand the differences in symptoms and signs and be aware of the initial screening tests for anthrax and influenza. Since the two diseases could coexist it is unfortunate that there are, to date, no point-of-care tests to diagnose both and thus minimize confusion and panic…

Story #4 – Missing Vials From Army Bunker

CNN writes, “Missing vials of a potentially dangerous virus have prompted an Army investigation into the disappearance from a lab in Maryland…humans with the virus suffer flu-like symptoms, but it can be deadly in about 1 out of 100 cases.” Wired reports that “the virus usually causes only ‘a mild flulike illness’ — although ‘brain inflammation and death’ are possible, too. ‘It has potential for use as a biological weapon but is far less lethal than some other agents the lab works with.’”

From Turner Radio Network:

The Turner Radio Network has learned that the fast-moving and deadly new strain of Flu striking Mexico, California and perhaps New York City has been traced to missing Bioweapons from the top U.S. Army Bioweapons laboratory at Fort Derick, MD.

Chad Jones, spokesman for Fort Meade, said the Army’s Criminal Investigation Division (CID) is investigating the possibility of missing virus samples from the U.S. Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases (USAMRIID)

He said the only other detail he could provide is that the investigation is ongoing…

In February, USAMRIID halted all its research into these and other diseases, known as “select agents” following the discovery of virus samples that weren’t listed in its inventory. Apparently, someone had taken viruses from the inventory and replaced them with viruses that were not in the inventory! That concealed the loss of the bioweapons, thus preventing a lockdown long enough to allow someone to smuggle them out of the lab and off the base.

A source at the US Centers for Disease Control in Atlanta, speaking on condition of anonymity because he is not authorized to speak to the media, has told the Turner Radio Network that the new strain of flu which struck Mexico City, killing 60 so far, has now swollen to over 1,000 suspected cases. He also said that the “morphing-ability” of the new Flu — blending three types of flu into a new, fast moving and deadly strain — is exactly the type of new morphing bioweapon missing from USAMRIID.

Mexico City is about 1,000 miles south of California but days ago, the new flu appeared suddenly in California.

Late today, reports surfaced that another sudden and unusual flu-like outbreak struck at a Catholic Prep School 2,500 miles to the east in New York City.

Seventy five students in the Prep School suddenly took ill Thursday and Friday, causing the NYC Department of Health to ORDER the school to cancel all after school activities until further notice.

The 75 sick students are being tested to see if they too have been infected with this new, deadly flu.

Possible Terrorist Attack

At 12:30 AM ET this morning, I called a trusted source from the US Department of Homeland Security (DHS) – the same source that leaked the “Right Wing Extremism Report” to me on April 12. At the late hour I expected to wake him up, but was surprised to find him already busy dealing with the Flu-like situation in NYC.

As of this moment, the United States government’s national threat level is Elevated, or Yellow. For all domestic and international flights, the U.S. threat level is High, or Orange.

According to the DHS source, if the 75 kids in the Prep School test positive for the same flu, then Homeland Security will consider raising the Terrorism Alert status to RED! They feel that the probability such a sudden onset sickness would jump from the west coast to the east coast within days, without touching the middle of the country, makes these outbreaks highly suspicious.

If DHS raises the threat level to RED, it would mean a terrorist attack has likely taken place and it would logically mean it took the form of a biological weapon.

Story #5 – 100 Days, Obama Yet To Appoint Health Officials, Refuses to Close Border

It is now officially 100 days into the new Obama Administration, and Barack has yet to appoint, ironically, a head of the Center of Disease Control or a surgeon General!

From NewsMax.com:

Americans for Legal Immigration PAC today called on the Obama administration to immediately close the southern border and restrict all inbound air and ground traffic from Mexico to emergencies and product delivery — to protect American lives from the Mexican Swine Flu outbreak.

“The Obama administration’s failure to secure our borders against a possible pandemic is putting American lives at risk at a time when days and hours matter,” said William Gheen of ALIPAC. “The weak and inadequate ‘passive surveillance’ described during Sunday’s press conference is offensive to the rational mind.”

Instead of advising American tourists not to travel to Mexico, or closing border crossings and air travel gates to essential travel only, the Obama administration is treating Mexico like a 51st state, instead of separate nation, opined ALIPAC officials in a press release.

ALIPAC also voiced dismay with the Obama administration’s failure to appoint key leadership prior to this crisis.

America is entering this crisis without a secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS) or appointees in any of the department’s 19 key posts, noted language in the release.

President Barack Obama has not yet chosen a surgeon general or the head of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. His choice to run the Food and Drug Administration awaits confirmation, criticized the ALIPAC officials.

“Obama was playing golf Sunday. Instead, he should have been addressing the nation, securing the borders, and filling the gaps in our government leadership from an emergency command center!” exclaimed Gheen.

“He refuses to send troops to the border to stop the violence from spilling over or the Mexican flu from crossing into America. Instead we get second tier bureaucrats telling Americans to wash our hands and cover our mouths when we cough like a bunch of 1st grade students,” Gheen added.

Obama recently traveled to Mexico to pledge his support for Comprehensive Immigration Reform Amnesty and the unconstitutional implementation of the Security and Prosperity Partnership (SSP) launched under the Bush administration, charged language in the release.

The SPP, which ALIPAC officials emphasized has no approval from the American public or Congressional oversight, states borders should remain open during pandemics:

“[Border restrictions] will not be more restrictive or maintained longer than necessary to achieve the veterinary or public health objective so as to avoid unnecessary interference with the movement of people and goods within North America.”

The Mexican Swine Flu outbreak impact on the American populace will be more severe due to the lack of action by the Obama administration, their failure to appoint a head of Health and Human Services and a Surgeon General – and Obama’s adherence to an economic plan, which supersedes U.S. Sovereignty, the laws of Congress, and civilian control, blasted authors of the press release.

“We are asking our supporters to call their Congressional representatives immediately to demand that Congress hold emergency hearings to override the open borders policies of the Obama administration and protect our citizens from this potential pandemic,” Gheen concluded.

Story #6 – Obama Could Use “Swine Flu” Hype to Pass Nationalized Health Care

From the April 28 edition of Fox News Radio’s Brian & The Judge:

BRIAN KILMEADE (co-host): And the word is in the latest budget negotiations, he’s going to get his health care. Without a debate, he’s going to have the financing for putting together his health care program.

NAPOLITANO: How can that be?

KILMEADE: That’s unfath — I don’t even know what the policies are.

NAPOLITANO: Listen, when Bill Clinton tried “Hillary-care” — for all of its socialist tendencies, for all of the money that was spent, for all of the attempted secrecy of the meetings at the White House — at least there was a public debate on it. And it became apparent to President Clinton that the Congress wasn’t going to go for it; the bill never even got to the floor of either house of Congress.

But in the case of President Obama, the budget allocates 645 billion for health care. They are now going to authorize him to spend that however he wants. There will be no material significant debate, Mr. and Mrs. America, about whether or not you want central planning for your health care to come out of Washington, D.C. You want a situation like we have in Canada, where you have to wait 16 months to have nonelective surgery? Do you want a situation like they have in Great Britain, where only the rich can go to private clinics and everybody else from the upper-middle class — from the upper-middle class on down has bad teeth and poor health and has to get the permission of a bureaucrat before they can see a doctor?

That is what may be coming without a meaningful debate, without a meaningful alternative, without input from you, because the president and his colleagues have decided they won the election and this is what the election means: centralized planning of the economy and centralized planning of health care. I don’t want it.

KILMEADE: It’s coming, and it’s got to be addressed and debated. I don’t think the current system is working. In the long term, I do think we need to look at it, analyze it, but it’s going to take deep thought, and you’ve got to get politics out of it. And he’s saying politics is in it, it’s my plan, and I’m going to go use reconciliation and use my Democratic majority to do it. And that’s 51, which he might struggle to get because a lot of people on the Democratic side say, listen, I’m not sure that there is a party line here.

NAPOLITANO: Do you think that it’s a coincidence that the government would be enacting this takeover of health care in the same week that we have fears of an epidemic –

KILMEADE: Interesting.

NAPOLITANO: – and a pandemic about swine flu? Remember how fear — remember how the government uses fear to get people to give up their freedom.

Fun Conclusion

Obama wants to enact his socialized health care system, increase dependence on the federal government, and raise his ever-decreasing approval ratings. He concocts a scheme to create a health scare, magnified by his media (yes, his media!) who are due for a new scare anyway since the last media hype. He needs something scary but not too fatal. He will also have to delay appointing a head of the center of disease control and a surgeon general, since they would be the ones to address the  Now that he’s president, he checks his “top secret” files, sees a fun influenza bioweapon at Fort Derick, arranges for a few vials to go “missing.” What country can he plant the virus in knowing it will immigrate into the U.S.? Mexico! Obama flies to Mexico to talk about “drug trafficking” and tosses the influenza vials out the window on the way out. Now, he can just sit back and let the media take care of the rest, until we are all in such a delusional panic that we finally embrace this outrageous idea of socialized health care, despite knowing that it has failed everywhere it’s been tried [1, 2, 3, 4, 5] and hikes taxes up to 50% or more, while Obama gets the praise and credit as not only our political savior, but now for saving our lives from the sniffles! It’s so obvious!
