Obama Resolves to “Halt the Rise of Privacy”

When talking about the amazing rescue of Captain Phillips from the Somali pirates by the Navy Seals, President Obama makes a major gaffe saying that “we are resolved to halt the rise of privacy” instead of piracy. I don’t know if this was the fault of TOTUS or if it was a major Freudian slip (I think it’s the latter, don’t you?) but I can’t imagine the media would be as forgiving on this one if it had comes from the lips of President Bush.

  1. There are a lot more Obama gaffes than I realized. I found this site because it was referenced in an article at: http://www.examiner.com/x-42947-Yakima-Conservative-Examiner~y2010m5d14-Just-how-dumb-is-Sarah-Palin-anyway–Part-II. Glad to see that some people outside the regular media are reminding us of how goofy Obama is.
