Obama’s Inaugural Address – Boring?
Being an optimistic person, I was anticipating a great speech from Obama despite the differences between his ideology and my own. The guy can give a great speech, but I was quite surprised that his Inaugural address was, all in all, pretty boring. Most of his campaign speeches were surprisingly much better. This fact is probably due to the fact that Obama’s right-hand man David Axelrod writes most of Obama’s speeches, however, Obama insisted that he write his own inaugural speech. So this was a look at Obama in his own words, which I can respect.
To prove it to any one who is vainly defending his speech simply because it came from the mouth of the Obamessiah, watch Ronald Reagan’s first inaugural address in 1981, and then Obama’s immediately afterward. Remember, Reagan inherited the office of President under similar circumstances in the nation’s economy and world events.
Now see if you hear anything that makes you proud to be an American or any phrases that will be remembered throughout history in this one:

Part Two (9:27)

You know I was really expecting to be moved by a historical speech. MLK,JFK,Reagan and Clinton all addressed the same croud needing to believe. We wanted hope we were left with “small change”

Obama didn’t “insist” the he write his own inaugural speech, he wrote it with his head writer who was sworn in at the White House yesterday.
